As we continue down our venture of exposing elocallisting’s criminal operations we always uncover more information. The latest was a posting that caught our attention…

“Are you aware that both companies are sharing their main technical support office in not only the same office building, but the same room? Not only does Performance Media Placement share a main office and phone lines with Elocal, but they employ the same Indian technical engineering department to build all their “proprietary” tools. http://empower-solutions.com/testimonials.aspx. You may want to save that page offline as I am sure it will change soon to provide more cover-up. Notice the number a Search Initiatives employee gives (714-838-0048) is the same as on performancemediaplacement.com.
Do you think both these companies may be linked in a “good cop / bad cop” duopoly that shares information and dupes customers twice using each other’s bad reputation in an attempt to “steal” sales from the other company?
Have you ever considered recording phone conversations of the sales pitches made by employees to post online? I know there are two party states that require permission on both ends but with persistence this could be an easy way to expose promises made over the phone that conflict with those given on paper; though most contracts people don’t see until they give their credit card information, which is highly illegal.”

Answer:
Yes we are aware of this, this is part of a new documentary that is being developed just for internet marketing scams; companies such as eLocallisting. They can attempt to delete what they like but we have obtained footage, phone conversations and documentation that proves there sinister methods.
What people need to do is really research the companies they are doing business with because this company creates other companies to funnel in lost accounts through a newly created corporate entity or reseller. Not only is there staff completely incompetent (which is proven with this site and the reason they have to outsource to India and Philippines for their proprietary “fast found technology”) but they lack the skills to be innovative, this is why they continue to fraud people or dupe them into the same service with a different company name. This is an old age scam done by only the shadiest companies who lack integrity. It is no wonder why Such Executives like Mr. Ralph Williams has ties to Enron and Tim Judd has never had a successful/profitable company in his business career. Maybe this is why Todd Johnson (Cat man Todd) will not comment; then again a comment is not needed when you have a history as his. For those who befriend MrWebGuru (mrwebgur@gmail.com) I would advise to stay away, he like many in the company are a part of a small group (Steve) who are there to steal your ideas and funnel them into elocal at their discretion as a pathetic act of loyalty.

P.S. Steve and Martin how was the SES Expo in San Francisco? Since when do they host Search Engine Conferences at the Gold Club? Maybe the names Akira, Anabelle, Drew, Jordan, Kimberly, Monica, Niya, Sateen, Selena, Valerie and Vanessa ring a bell?

And since eLocalListing has a history of removing “revealing” content, we have provided pdf copies at the links below.

Thats right elocallisting is using hubspot, in fact their marketing system is so proprietary they use an other marketing company’s software to get rankings and analytics LAWL. Why not just get HubSpot for your company? Need to track your incoming leads, need call tracking? No problem do what elocallisting.com does, use Call Source to get a number tracked. You see elocallisting.com sells products like these as a third-party and claims it as their own fast found technology… LAWL!

This gives us an Idea… maybe we should start our own “Internet Marketing” Company and claim to have proprietary software or “relationships”.

PS: Can’t wait to see the webinars on epic failures… LAWL!

“Never poke the sleeping lion with a stick just to see its reaction – because when you do he roars very loudly and attack .. thus is the case with elocalscams – calling them whiny ex-employees and liken them to a fat high school kid who masturbates because they can’t do any thing else, is probably one of the unwisest things I have seen in a while … their response was sharp and swift.

We do not comment on their posts! Please be certain that you, your employees, your kids, your dogs, and your neighbors simply ignore these idiots! To paraphrase this misguided soul – commenting is like giving viagra to a teenager!”

A message delieved to elocal management on August 6th. Interesting as this once again illustrates and proves they are going around the net attempting to insult whistleblowers within the company.

We received in interesting email today…

Question:
“Do you happen to have any info on Carl Perkins or Duane Brinson, former partners with the old Search Initiatives crew? Both were “let go” by the company when they formed elocal, and I was curious why. It also gives me a slight chill to think if scumbags like Warren Wise and Todd Johnson didnt want to do business with these two guys, how bad of scumbags must they be? Anyway, they are running a scam identical to elocal and even have two of the elocal techs renting the same office. These guys actually receive all the financial data from elocal somehow and laugh at how they are losing money hand over fist.

Have they tried contacting you to shut down your site or received any notices from lawyers or anything?” -youcantfoolme

Answer:
No we currently do not have information On Carl Perkins or Duane Brinson as they were never really a part of eLocal Listing. You are right, they where a part of the Search Initiatives Company until Jeff Einstoss and Todd Johnson Sold Zone Communications to Tim Judd, thus creating eLocal Listing LLC Which originally was suppose to be iLocal. There were arguments and because Mr Perkins and Brinson did not want to work with Todd Johnson they left. As far as the financial data being compromised anything is possible now days. Whether they are losing money our educated guess would say yes. The did just laid off 40+ Sales Employees, maybe it had to do with the bad reputation.

We have been contacted by 2 different law firms one in San Diego and one in Los Angeles who are working on establishing class action lawsuits against the company. We have been slapped with a DMCA of all things because elocal complained to our hosting company we where using their registered trademark… which idea they actually stole from Cingular (the little Cingular bars).

source= http://elocalscams.com/the-more-we-dig-the-more-dirt-comes-out/

eLocallisting:

“The authors of elocal Scams are a bitter group of,whiny x employees with no drive or intelligence to route their dubious talents elsewhere. You all are like the fat kid in high school that directs his energies to masturbation because he has no other choice. Move on you cowardice limpidness, move on. One day when you will grow up and see that your obsessive bitterness is due to your own incompetence. Perhaps viagra might help, give it a try!”

Our Reposonse:

Interesting… you speaking of intellect. Your pitiful attempts to try and make us feel bad is actually making us feel a whole lot better. Our energy’s are directed at something important, exposing your righteousness, how you like to exploit anyone and anything to try to get it your way just to make a few extra $. What is even more pathetic is that you have a staff full of “fat kids” who can’t seem to do anything right, for being a self proclaimed Internet marketing company you sure have failed at almost every aspect of it, how can you call yourself a marketing company when you have been annihilated at your own self proclaimed expertise? by a bunch of “bitter group of whiny x employees with no drive or intelligence”, “the fat kid in high school that directs his energies to masturbation because he has no other choice”. LAWL… PATHETIC INDEED!!!

Don’t come around here with your stupid and childish insults trying to tell us how manly and how big your penis is. We have better things to do then to listen to you “whine” about how better you are then us. To put it simple look at what we have done, We have taken your company from a 200+ employee company to an about 50+/- (and dieing) employee company. I guess the public does care about your quality of work, how you treat your clients and most important integrity. Too bad for you this isn’t 1920’s where you can get away with treating your employees and customers like garbage. We are only proving how incompetent YOU really are, before you go around calling anyone incompetent go online and search your company name and you tell us who is more incompetent…

On Thursday July 29th all of the eLocal sales team was laid off (40+ Agents). Although we regret the peoples life this will affect we cannot say we are surprised. The Executives, especially Tim Judd Had a long history of running companies into the ground to reroute investment capitol to other projects. It was almost impossible to try and pursue the company as contracts and paper trails were well crafted to protect the criminals running the operation. What is more interesting is what will happen in the following weeks, is this the end of eLocallisting or is this just another step to move the company elsewhere? What will happen to the Sales force being groomed and trained in the Philippines? Is this really the end or is this an attempt to start the company over elsewhere? There are many questions regarding the recent actions but for now we will have to wait as information once again begins to pour through with angry ex-employees.

eLocal is now making more money from a department know as Winback than Sales, a department established to force clients to pay for services that in most cases weren’t rendered. This department calls customers and threatens to send them to collections if they do not pay the balance they owe. What is interesting is how this company freely calls back customers after knowing they have not performed and yet threatens them with sending them to collections, threatening them with their credit. Here’s a thought if you are a ex-customer remember to ask for written proof of what they claim to have provided you with, Ask for the TPV recording and any binding contracts they may have. Have your lawyer review it and make sure you are not being scammed. This company needs to have the local District Attorney look into its shady business ethics and practices. A company full of insidious egotistically malignant pieces of garbage. Make yourself be heard don’t just pay because they threaten you, there are several lawsuits currently being put together in where elocal listing has been charging clients for months and in some cases years without performing, modifying their client records to show otherwise. In other words if a client would call elocal claiming they had been charged for almost 2 years and could not find themselves on any search engine. To cover it up they had employees go and change data in the database manually to show otherwise. There are many employees and a couple of managers that will be subpoenaed to testify on how they where altering records in order to avoid potential lawsuits. eLocal listing is one big joke don’t let them fool or pressure you into paying anything, get an attorney like many are now in the process of doing. If you’re going to sue make sure you go for the people running the company Tim Judd, Ralph Williams, Todd Johnson, Greg Royse, Buffy Marie Defoore and Dan Meyerson as they already have a track record for scamming investors into investing into a company and then filing bankruptcy in order to funnel out that money into their own private interests. We currently are in the process of investigating the company’s individuals and we can say we are not surprised!

Don’t let them give you the “well you cant satisfy everyone, you think Disney doesn’t have complaints?” this is BS how is a company like elocallisting even comparing them themselves to a billion dollar company? Simple, it is a tactic used by customer service to try to minimize the issue and make it appear irrelevant do your research don’t just believe something they’re Customer Service Reps tell you, they are paid to make every possible atempt to keep you on-board so they can continue to charge you, they don’t care as much as they pretend to.

Did you know that elocal has been in business for over 4 years? Did you know that they still have ZERO proprietary information, programs, code and graphics? But how so, how can a self proclaimed leader in internet marketing still not have any real secret sauce? Well it’s quite simple, you see when you pay someone else to say something most people believe it. Many of you have seen other sites that promote elocallisting as one of the top 10 seo companies in the nation. This of course is completely false as 99% of the time they have paid to get put on that list. For example topseos.com who have already been under heat from consumers and professionals for posting fixed charts based on the highest “donation” from any company. These practices are downright evil and misleading which is why sites like ours are changing the face of business. It now has become extremely difficult for any rip-off companies like elocallisting.com to operate under false promises, as consumer experiences can now be documented and explored over the net. You see elocal tells its employees that it’s the best and “innovative” and yet the employees cannot for themselves look into this; if they do they become terminated. It is this same malignant and sinister management that has continued to oppress the workers blocking various sites like yelp.com, ripoffreport.com and elocalscams.com threatening them with their jobs. If that isn’t bad enough they fill them with false hopes telling them that someone is going to buy elocallisting and they are all going to win, YEAH RIGHT! This has already happened and the employees where lied to into believing the company had “merged” to avoid any profit sharing. Now with any company track record as this would you as a consumer be comfortable handing over your credit information?
We have spoken to many ex-employees regarding elocal and they have ALL said the same thing; elocal is a Ponzi scheme, a total scam, a rip-off but if this is so how can any company like this operate?
Well then we dive into their business model which goes a little something like this…
Elocallisting operates under a type of false service know as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) false because they cannot provide this service they could not afford to. You see real SEO is a skill that very few professionals have and because there are so few it is very expensive. In reality elocallisting stretches the term SEO by implying that a profile with keywords and phrases connected to other sites via links are SEO. If this is so then everyone would naturally be on the first page. The way that elocal attracts customers is not by recommendation but by aggressive cold calling, after all who would recommend a service that doesn’t work? You see elocallisting exploits small business owners filling them with false hopes telling them that can get them more customers through their service. All their testimonials are fabricated to show only what they want people to hear and see. Why would a company spend so much time trying to hide the truth, threatening old employees and currently employees? Why does elocallisting insist that their service works? We have all seen the numerous accounts of others on remote sites speaking out their horrid experiences with the company.
elocal operates and continues to operate because they continue to scam people across the US, and when they have worn out their brand they simply create a new one to white label over the service so that the consumer who may have already been scammed by elocallisting can be duped into the services again. You see elocal is able to stay afloat by hoarding in new victims and charging them upfront knowing that in a month or two; once the consumer has figured out that this is a sham they simply tell them to cancel if they are not happy with the service. To make this simple if you have enough new victims giving you “setup” fees and have less customers canceling their service then you can do business, this is how they do business. If this company is so great why don’t they put how many cancelations they have a month? How about annually? The truth is that they can’t afford to have everyone know the truth or else no one would buy into their illusive dream of more calls and more business.
We can only do our part in trying to inform the public of this sinister company, but we can only do so much. It is important that you as a business owner document your experience with elocallisting and leave it for others to see so that the number of victims decline and elocal disappears. Predatory companies are a malignant poison in our economy and it is time that we provide the cure.

1 ) Everything they do is completely free. Aside from being free it only needs to be done once everything else is pretty much updating information when needed. Why pay for monthly “maintenance” when it doesn’t really happen?

2 ) No Profile will EVER outrank a top level domain (.com, .net, .org). This is proven.

3 ) You can make you own video by simply going to istockphoto.com and purchasing a video for yourself, elocal does not make you a custom video unless you pay for it. If you don’t pay for it you’re paying for something that they bought as a discount price, someone else has the same video with different information. They also bought videos from istockphoto.com before they “partnered” with PIXEL FISH which is probably an outsourced company from India.

4 ) There service holds no proprietary knowledge, the service is made up free services offered to users on the web, that’s why there is so many other “internet marketing” companies offering the same thing. This also explains why ex-managers of elocallisting.com left and created their own cold calling center selling the same exact product.

5 ) Statistics show that people would rather do business with a .com site they found from a search and not a profile on some strange directory.

6 ) Being on any directory is useless unless people know to go to that directory to look for you; ultimately you want to be on Google’s root directories such as Maps & Local. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a directory that no one knows about plain and simple.

7 ) When profiles rank, they rank for a couple of days. Profiles do not hold up rankings because they are considered references, a website is the way to go!

8 ) Have you seen their corporate site? How does a company who claims to be a marketing technology company have such a poor looking site? If you look at their competitors they have more flashy and technically advanced sites.

9 ) There are literally hundreds of negative reports online about the company; there is not one single rebuttal to any of the reports only cheap attacks on assumed whistleblowers.

10 ) They have no system to track your rankings. There QA is a complete failure as they do not know a clients rankings until they call to cancel because they get no business, what makes it worse is most of the time the client was not processed. Once the company see’s failure they simply send you a cancelation recommendation. WHAT COMPANY SENDS YOU A CANCELATION RECOMMENDATION?!?!?! Maybe one that takes your money for the past 6 months using your funds as their R&D.
