10 reasons to say NO to elocallisting.com!

1 ) Everything they do is completely free. Aside from being free it only needs to be done once everything else is pretty much updating information when needed. Why pay for monthly “maintenance” when it doesn’t really happen?

2 ) No Profile will EVER outrank a top level domain (.com, .net, .org). This is proven.

3 ) You can make you own video by simply going to istockphoto.com and purchasing a video for yourself, elocal does not make you a custom video unless you pay for it. If you don’t pay for it you’re paying for something that they bought as a discount price, someone else has the same video with different information. They also bought videos from istockphoto.com before they “partnered” with PIXEL FISH which is probably an outsourced company from India.

4 ) There service holds no proprietary knowledge, the service is made up free services offered to users on the web, that’s why there is so many other “internet marketing” companies offering the same thing. This also explains why ex-managers of elocallisting.com left and created their own cold calling center selling the same exact product.

5 ) Statistics show that people would rather do business with a .com site they found from a search and not a profile on some strange directory.

6 ) Being on any directory is useless unless people know to go to that directory to look for you; ultimately you want to be on Google’s root directories such as Maps & Local. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a directory that no one knows about plain and simple.

7 ) When profiles rank, they rank for a couple of days. Profiles do not hold up rankings because they are considered references, a website is the way to go!

8 ) Have you seen their corporate site? How does a company who claims to be a marketing technology company have such a poor looking site? If you look at their competitors they have more flashy and technically advanced sites.

9 ) There are literally hundreds of negative reports online about the company; there is not one single rebuttal to any of the reports only cheap attacks on assumed whistleblowers.

10 ) They have no system to track your rankings. There QA is a complete failure as they do not know a clients rankings until they call to cancel because they get no business, what makes it worse is most of the time the client was not processed. Once the company see’s failure they simply send you a cancelation recommendation. WHAT COMPANY SENDS YOU A CANCELATION RECOMMENDATION?!?!?! Maybe one that takes your money for the past 6 months using your funds as their R&D.
